Drishyam invites storytellers to capture the soul of the Constitution through the language of cinema. This short film competition celebrates the power of visual storytelling to question, reflect, and inspire. Rooted in the spirit of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, Drishyam seeks to transform thought into image, where every frame becomes a voice for truth, empathy, and change.
The participants are to make their films based on any one of the themes:

A Joke can Heal, a Joke can Sting,
Freedom of Speech: Who is holding the String? -
Hands that built the World, sleep hungry at Night,
Their Sweat turns into Gold, but never their Right. -
We called it Love, but it was a Cage,
Soft Words hiding Silent Rage. -
Bars held him Tight, but Justice was Tighter.
A Breath Lost Quietly, No Trial, No Fighter.
Team Composition: Maximum of 7 Members
Duration: 3 to 15 minutes (including credits)
Language: English or any Indian Regional Language. English subtitles are mandatory.
Format: MP4 or MOV (Minimum resolution: 720p HD)
Last Date of Submission: 24th November, 2025 via Google Drive link or Pen Drive to the organisers.
Along with the submission, the following must also be included:
- Title and Brief Synopsis (200 words)
- List of team members along with roles/designation and their contact details (mention class as well)
By submitting the film, participants grant SJCL the right to screen and use the film for academic and promotional purposes.
Last Date of Film Submission: 17th December, 2025
The Film Submission can be either Fictional or Documentary.
Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- per team
The Best Films will receive the following Cash Prizes:
- First Place: Rs. 10,000/-
- Second Place: Rs. 5,000/-
- Third Place: Rs. 3,000/-
