Chadhuranga – Model Youth Parliament

As a diverse nation-state with a colonial history, representative democracy plays a pivotal role in our constitutional structure. Chadhuranga, the Model Youth Parliament styled along the lines of the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), gives scholars from all fields a platform to discuss a pressing contemporary issue in a parliamentary setting.

The agenda, “Deliberation on the Role of a National Language Policy in Shaping National Unity and Social Cohesion”, sits at the crossroads of identity, politics, and power and demands an understanding of India that goes beyond headlines or classrooms, inviting participants to rebuild the idea of the nation through language.

Registration Fee: Rs. 250/- per delegate
Delegation Size: Up to 10 members

Participants, please note:
Delegates are requested to register for the AIPPM first. A separate form for portfolio preferences will be provided closer to the conference to ensure fair participation and allotment based on experience.

Delegates wishing to join Press Portfolios for Indian news channels as either Reporters or Photographers are also requested to specify their preferences once the Google form is sent out.

The Winning Team shall receive the following Cash Prizes:

• Best Delegate – Rs. 5,000/-
• High Commendation – Rs. 3,000/-
• Honourable Mention – Rs. 2,000/-
• Best Photographer – Rs. 3,000/-
• Best Reporter – Rs. 3,000/-
• Best Position Paper – Rs. 1,000/-
